On September 18, during an Interim Joint Judiciary Committee Hearing, Republican Representative Jason Nemes introduced a Glock switch ban. Louisville Metro Police Chief Paul Humphrey testified, citing alarming trends: Glock switch confiscations rose from 31 in 2023 to 80 in 2024, with 2025 on pace to surpass that. 

This hearing marked a turning point: bipartisan support voiced from both rural and urban lawmakers. It was inspiring to witness. 

While legislation is never guaranteed, I believe we’re on a promising path. With your help, we can get closer to passage and protecting lives.
