TOGETHER, WE CAN BRING ABOUT RESPONSIBLE GUN OWNERSHIP AND END GUN VIOLENCE.
Welcome. Whether you collected signatures for Ohioans for Gun Safety, or volunteered or donated, you made a difference in raising awareness of the need for common sense gun legislation.
The Whitney/Strong Organization is honored by the opportunity to join forces with OGS, a broad-based coalition of 3,100 friends strong, to help stop gun violence and gun tragedies. Over the past two years, we’ve worked with neighbors, friends, colleagues, gun owners, educators and legislators who mirror your passion, and together, our voices will be louder and stronger.
Since our founding in 2018, Whitney/Strong has distributed 12,000 gun locks, spearheaded the Crisis Aversion and Rights Retention (CARR) bill in Kentucky (the first hearing on prevention in more than a decade), and meets weekly with members of the Ohio legislature to determine what responsible gun ownership bill can be passed.
On behalf of the entire Whitney/Strong Organization, thank you for your perseverance and your passion. We’re glad you’re here. Please take a moment to read my story and learn more about our mission.
We are Better Together
If we work together, we can make a difference. I can’t do it alone, but together we can drive conversations with key stakeholders, gather data, and leverage findings to guide education, advocacy and solutions to reduce gun violence. We are better together. –Whitney
